You will not recognize me on the street. I have never applied to be a part of a reality television. I wouldn’t qualify for most of them and I didn’t have the nerve to try out for the one that suited me best. The one that was best for me is the Biggest Loser. The bottom line is I was fat. My body felt the effects of all of the extra pounds that I carried. Even if I wasn’t going to enjoy my fifteen minutes of fame, that didn’t mean I had to stay the way that I was.
I am a fan of the show and had been to the website many times and had gone on the chat rooms that I found on the biggest loser forum, and also visited the websites that they had links to help me figure out what method I was going to use to lose my fat. After spending some time in the chat rooms, I learned that there were plans that would allow me to drop a bunch of pound in a short time and found one that seed like it would work. I placed my order and waited for my miracle to arrive. Even though I got the system in the mail quickly, I didn’t begin to use it right away. My common sense kept telling me to start my diet and I finally listened to myself.
I knew I wanted to learn how to lose weight fast, and the only way that I was going to do this was by trusting the product that I had bought and committing myself to getting the results. So on a fateful day in February, I began my journey. I made a promise to myself that I would make this program work and that failure was not an option. I had dealt with over thirty years of being overweight and it was time for that to end. I used the cleansing system as directed I used the detox system every morning, watched what I ate and hoped that it worked. I wanted to avoid being discouraged. It would be easy for me to stop what I was doing if I didn’t see the results that I expected every day even though the plan said that results would vary and your weight would fluctuate. According to the plan I had chosen, my body had many things that helped retain the fat and if I got them out of my system the fat would melt away. Even though they said the fat would melt away in my sleep, I decided to put some work into also.
I knew that doing six pack ab exercises in my living room was not going to help me at all so I went out searching and found a gym that was convenient to me and joined. I started exercising after dinner every night. Someone had said that if you workout after a meal you won’t want to fill yourself as much. Working out after you stuff your self is a lot harder. There was nothing I wouldn’t do to lose weight. I finished the cleansing program and it was time to get the results. The scale made me very happy. My weight had dropped by almost fifty pounds. Over two pounds a day. The cleansing system had done its part, and now it was my turn.
Luckily I had the people at the gym to help me. With the assistance of a personal trainer we came of with a exercise plan that I could follow. The other part of my plan included finding the right foods to eat in order to get healthy. It took eighteen months, but I did it. I no longer had to take medicine for my diabetes or my blood pressure and my body felt better. I was inspired by a bunch of people who put their weight loss journey out there for all to see and had taken my own journey. I had become the champion of my own reality show even if no one else had watched it.
